We have found that many of our clients are being overcharged by recovery agents when Police or Highways Services arrive on the scene and automatically call out the local Police rota garage, thus leaving the operator with astronomical charges that have been set out by Home Office Legislation dated 1st October 2008 which enables contractors to charge fees which can be up to £6K for a loaded articulated vehicle which has gone off the road.
